| Die CD-Photo ist eine
einmal (industriell) beschreibbare optische Speicherscheibe. Sie ist
mechanisch identisch mit der CD-ROM. Die interne Fehlerkorrektur
(Mode2) und Datenorganisation (Form1) sind speziell abgestimmt auf die
Speicherung von Standbildern. Sie ist standardisiert in der sog. ISO/"Orange Book"-Spezifikation.
